We love Snickers ice cream, but not the price tag. That is the beautiful thing about coupons, $1.00 off can move an item from too expensive, to not so bad, or even budget friendly. Click here to print $1.00 off Snickers Ice Cream Bars.

Kung Zhu Review
Posted on | July 25, 2010 | No Comments

I’m not going to mince words with this one, Kung Zhu will be the hottest toy for boys this holiday season. If I thought the girls liked the regular Zhu Zhu pets, it’s nothing compared to how the boys enjoyed and played with the Kung Zhu hamsters and play sets. I was lucky enough to be asked to review the new Kung Zhu line and it was Christmas in July at my house.
When the package first arrived, I hid it. My seven year old son had seen the commercials for Kung Zhu and had been talking about how cool they look and how he wants them. Part of the deal is that I host a party with his friends and let them play with the Kung Zhu Pets and see how they like it. I knew the party was still a few weeks away and didn’t want to hear my son ask to play with the Kung Zhu pets every day.
But it was like he has radar for these things. Two days after I put the box in the garage he found it and kept asking what was in it. I eventually caved (huge mistake) and showed him. He was relentless, so I finally let him play with one pet and his armor and he was in heaven. He got me to open a few play sets as well, but he played with them every day so we were both happy. 2 week shopping – results
Posted on | July 22, 2010 | No Comments
I am happy to report that we made it through the 2 week shopping experiment quite easily (read about it here then here). I definitely misjudged the milk, we went through 4 gallons not 2, but other then that we had lots of food left to work with. We have a lot going one the next few weeks, so I’m not going to stress myself out and will just shop normally. Once I get a little breathing room I will definitely do another shopping trip to last at least 2 weeks. Shopping once a month would be even better!

CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara
Posted on | July 21, 2010 | No Comments

If you are looking for a great mascara, I have a new favorite you might want to check out. As a BzzAgent I recently did a campaign where they sent me a tube of Lash Blast Fusion mascara to try. If you want to learn more about becoming a BzzAgent click here.
CoverGirl says that the fiberstretch formula and oversized brush of the LashBlast Fusion mascara make every little lash bigger, fuller, longer-looking and more dramatic. For once I actually agree. I have to say when I first saw the brush I laughed. It’s big and fat and not at all what I’m used to from the mascara’s that I’ve been using lately. It took me a few minutes to get used to using it, but once I did it was great.
I have a little tan going now, so I haven’t been wearing much more then mascara. I can apply one coat of the LashBlast and my lashes look fuller and longer. No muss no fuss. I’m all about easy, so when a product also works great I’m happy. To learn more about CoverGirl LashBlast click here.
