Au Pair Care

For those of you who have your kids in day care, I thought this was interesting and worth passing along. It’s about the option of choosing an Au Pair instead of daycare or a Nanny. I’m not sure how I would feel about doing this, but it sounds like it has some potential. The brochure says the price is about $300 per week, and does not increase per child. If you want to check it out, visit their website here.
I had quite a response to this post so I’m adding a little more to it. Plus the company sent me a coupon to share with my readers and I wanted to post it for you. The program costs about $7/hour or $320/week for 45 hours of flexible care, regardless of the number of children. The Au Pairs come from over 40 countries and have been pre-screened. They all have previous childcare experience, speak English and attend special training. You can go online at www.aupaircare.com or call 800.428.7247 to contact them. To save $300 use promo code BSMAPP.

Hi,
I’ve actually had 3 au pairs through AuPairCare and it’s been a great experience for our family. Having someone live in your home is so convenient and a great way for the kids to learn about another culture. Our aupairs have honestly become like another member of our family and I’m so grateful to AuPairCare for that. We’re now paying $320 a week basically because the weekly pocket money that you pay the au pair ($176/week) went up so that they can be paid minimum wage – after the annual program fee all the cost average out to $320 which is super affordable. I highly recommend this option and AuPairCare in particular. Their website is http://www.aupaircare.com.
