I warned you that items would go fast with the CVS deals today, and they did. I hope you all were able to get some good bargains! I had my first midnight CVS run, and I may be hooked. Hubby and I took the kids to a Christmas concert in the park and got home a little later than usual. I couldn’t sleep so I figured what the heck, I’d get my shopping done so I wouldn’t have to get up super early.

Well, am I glad that I did. I arrived around 11:30 PM Saturday and they were already out of stock or very low on lots of items. It was a little disappointing, but I still got lots of great stuff. I forgot to check about rebates, so I’ll stop in tomorrow and see what they say.

I also got to meet a really great lady and her son, who were fellow CVSers! Not only did she tell me about some more deals, she had her son run out to the car to get me $2.00 worth of coupons to use. Talk about spreading holiday cheer!

I tried to keep my out of pocket low, which I don’t usually accomplish, but today I finally did pretty good. My final total on all transactions was $4.81! I did roll over ECBs as I earned them, but the ECBs I earned and have left for next time is $71.52! My computer won’t let me print coupons or I would have done even better. Just a reminder, ECBs are Extra Care Bucks and OOP is out of pocket. I had 6 transactions:
