CVS and Wags

I didn’t get too much yesterday, but I found a few deals that I need to go back for. * I updated this post below so be sure to read it again before going to Walgreen’s*

First I went to CVS, I was just going to get the Dove/Degree deal and the soap, but they had a huge clearance rack. If you have different CVS stores that you have easy access to, be sure to visit them all. I have about 5 that I pass doing my normal routine and they all have different sales when it comes to clearance.
Here is what I got:
Cutter bug wipes was $4.99 on clearance for $1.25
CVS Sport suntan lotion was $2.99 on clearance for $0.75
CVS toilet paper was $2.79 on clearance for $0.70 (bought 2)
Dial $1.88
Degree Clinical Strength $6.00
Dove Conditioner $4.99 (bought 3)
I used 3 coupons for $1.50 off the Dove conditioner from the 10/4 SS and a printable coupon for $2.00 off the Degree. I gave up looking for the Tone bar soap, none of the stores I went to even had a place on their shelves for it. You can print the $1.00 off Tone bar or bodywash coupon here. I used up the last of my EBs which were expiring and had to pay $5.75 plus tax out of pocket. Then I earned back $1.00 for the Dial and $10.00 for the Dove.
The final cost on the Dove/Degree was $20.97 – $6.50 in coupons = $14.47 – $10.00 in EBs = $4.47 for all 4 or $1.12 each.
I also saw another deal when I was there that I will grab today (I didn’t have the coupons with me). Sometimes seeing the deals on the shelf must make them stand out better, I didn’t notice it in the flier. The Viologie and Frutopia are on sale BOGO, the price in my store was $3.79. There are coupons in the reinventing beauty book for $2.00 off one. Buy one Viologie and one Frutopia and use one coupon for each to get them both free. If you try to buy 2 Viologies or 2 Frutopia the coupon will beep and won’t work.

Then I ran across the street to Walgreen’s. I wanted to get one of everything to be sure the deals were all working, but my Walgreen’s was out of a lot of stuff. I will try a different store today and see if I can confirm the Robitussin DM, Halls and Crest Deals. There were no signs in my store at all, except for on the Emergen-C. My favorite cashier was there and when I asked her about last weeks free after RR deals being good all month, she had no idea that they were still issuing RRs on anything. She was super nice about it and laughed that I usually know more then her and did a test on the items to be sure they printed the RRs. Which they did. I don’t know if the Razor RRs are still rolling either, they only had one so I couldn’t test it out.
*UPDATE* be careful if you are doing the Vaseline Sheer Infusion deal, it has been ringing up $7.49 instead of $6.99. The Wags I went to had the display that said $6.99, so the cashier changed the price for me. I can also confirm that the Halls Refresh deal is still working and so is the Dentek Dental care floss 55 yards or 35 pack picks. The Halls are on sale for $1.00 with $1.00 back in RR. The Dentek is on sale for $2.00 with $2.00 back in RR.
The Disney snacks were only $0.49 and the sharpie was $0.24, I used them as fillers.
The Gillette Razor was $8.99 – $4.00 coupon from the 9/27 P&G = $4.99 then got back $6.00 in RR.
Emergen-C $3.49 then got back $3.50 in RR.
Chapstick $2.99 then got back $3.00 in RR.
Vaseline lotion $6.99 – $1.50 printable coupon (no longer available, but I’ll keep looking) = $5.49 then got back $7.00 in RR.
I haven’t found a great way to roll the rewards, but I’ll try again today.

Liz, the Wags on Gatline/PSL has wrapping paper. gift bags and other gift stuff on clearance for $1. I was just in there a few hours ago to pick up my DVD…and they had just put them out. I am sure they will go quick. BTW – which CVS did you see all the clearance deals? Mine (across from WAGS) has ZERO.

Hey Kim,
Thanks for the Wags clearance tip! I was there when they had piled stuff into shopping carts, but they hadn’t marked them down yet. I go by there today so I’ll pop in to see if anything is left.
I found the CVS clearance at the one in Stuart on US1 and Monterrey. The one in Palm City didn’t have any either.
Have a great day!
Liz
