CVS Really doesn’t care

I’ve been putting off posting about this, the whole situation makes me sick to my stomach. I also feel like I’ve failed and let you all down. I was on a mission to fight the good fight and win a victory for those of us who are treated badly for using coupons. For a few minutes I actually believed it might work, but I was wrong. Here is the original post if you missed it.
The day I wrote my first e-mail I got a quick response saying that they had forwarded my complaint to another department to handle it. It seemed like they felt this was a serious issue and as such wanted it to be handled properly. That was when I got my hopes up. After a week of not hearing from them I sent another e-mail asking for a specific contact person that I could discuss the matter with. This was the response I received:
Dear Liz:
Thank you for your e-mail regarding the ******** , FL , CVS/pharmacy location. Please accept this letter as a formal apology for the lack of customer service extended to you during your visit.
We regret any inconvenience you have experienced and assure you that we will take the necessary actions to correct the situation from recurring and retain you as a customer. I have notified Ray ******, District Manager, of your comments. We hope that you will give CVS/pharmacy another chance to prove that we are dedicated to customer service.
We value our customers and look forward to serving you in the future. Should you have any additional concerns, please feel free to contact us directly at 1-800-746-7287.
Sincerely,
Laura

As I re-read the e-mail, it doesn’t sound so bad. Maybe they will take him to task on this complaint. I doubt it. This Ray they contacted is the manager that I was encouraged to contact by the nasty manager at my store. I don’t really know what I was expecting them to say or do. As nasty as the guy was, I still wouldn’t want him fired. I’m not sure what I will do next, is it worth the stress to continue the fight? And what exactly would I be fighting for? What would make it right? It will be a she said he said unless I get the girls that work at the store to stick up for me. I wouldn’t want to put them through that. They have been nothing but nice to me and I would hate to do anything that could negatively affect them. The problem is I’m just not sure if I can let it go. I’m going to think about it for a little while, I’m hopefully headed to CVS today and I’ll see how that trip goes before I make a decision. Wish me luck!

I had the same issue with a Walgreens store manager. Walgreens gave me the same song and dance email. It was to the point in my local walgreens that I’d walk in the store and the mgr and asst. mgr’s would follow me around the store. Quite embarrassing and frustrating. I stuck to it and they eventually got bored with it. And everytime they try to stop me in getting an item free legally with 1 wags coupon and 1 manuf. I ask them to show me the policy from them or corp posted clearly on what wall. They’ve started to leave me alone.

Liz, I just posted a comment on your first email. I’ll be praying this morning for you to handle this situation with wisdom, understanding, and discernment from the Lord. I know how taxing this is emotionally, and I know you want to represent Jesus well.
Blessings,
Kim
