CVS – Spot the clearance
Posted on | September 28, 2009 | No Comments
I’ve been very lucky lately with the clearance that I have been able to get at my CVS and just wanted to give you a little information on how to keep an eye out for what will be on clearance next. Usually the price tags on the shelves are white. When they change to yellow it means that they have reached their shelf life and will be put on clearance. I can’t tell you how long it takes, but keep an eye out. Especially if it’s something that you want.
CVS also tends to do their markdowns on certain days, it depends on the store as each store is different. Check with the cashiers you have made friends with and they will usually be happy to tell you which day they do their mark downs and you can schedule your visits around it. They can also tell you what percentage the mark downs will be like 30%, 50%, 75% or my favorite 90%. It is great when you know you can get something on clearance and plan ahead for it.
Thanks to AFC for the inspiration.
