Dove Nutrium Moisture Review

The great people at Dove sent me three different types of Dove Nutrium Moisture Body Wash to try. They are great body washes and are different from any that I have tried in the past. It felt more like I was moisturizing then using a soap.

I was a little surprised when I first used it, as I was used to more lather, but I got over it very quickly. All three varieties leave you feeling clean and fresh and my skin feels great. I definitely don’t use lotion and cream on my body like I should and I could see a difference in the increased moisture in my skin after a few days of using the Dove Nutrium Body Wash.

Let me tell you a little about what Dove is saying about these products.

They repair and maintain skin’s protective layer during cleansing.

Unlike moisturizers in other body washes, Dove Body Wash with NutriumMoisture penetrates surface skin deep down to replenish and nourish.

Clinically proven to significantly reduce dryness and improve moisturization.

I would have to agree with their claims. The Sensitive Skin formula is nice, especially if you don’t like smells and perfume. Usually that would be my favorite, but I really love both the Deep Moisture and Gentle Exfoliating Body Washes. The smell of the Deep Moisture is a little stronger then the Gentle Exfoliating Wash, but both are very nice smells. The Deep Moisture really feels like lotion is being absorbed into your skin. At the same time, I can’t give up the exfoliation included in my body wash. I love how my skin feels after using it.

I also have to tell you that after using these products my kids commented on how good my skin felt and smelled. I have tried and reviewed quite a few products of this kind. This was the first time my kids ever had something to say about my skin (hubby is totally clueless – lovable but clueless. At least my kids are paying attention).

Dove is one of the few soaps because I have allergic reactions to almost every brand out there. Funny thing, my husband used Dove when I met him because he had three sisters who taught him how to take care of his complexion. I grew up with boys, and didn’t have a clue (but oh, do I know how to use every tool in the tool box).
