Issue with Walgreens

Has anyone else noticed shorter expiration dates on their Walgreen’s Register Rewards? I was trying to roll over some of the RRs that I got from the sale last month so that I can use them on Black Friday (they have some great freebies coming out that day). I purposely waited to go today, this way the RRs would expire in 2 weeks on Black Friday (11/27). But guess what? The rewards that printed out today expire on 11/20! That’s only 7 days!
Now I was at a different Wags on Wednesday, I had some RRs that expired that day too. I did the exact same transaction and bought the Almay foundation and those RRs expire 11/25! So the Almay I bought Wednesday spit out RRs that expire 11/25 and the Almay I bought today spit out RRs that expire 11/20. It made no sense to me, so I was so happy that my favorite manager was there tonight and asked him what was going on. He played totally dumb and said that all RRs expire at different times and that they have no control over what the computer prints out.
What? I couldn’t believe that he actually said that to me. I know for a fact that he knows 7 days is not a normal expiration for RRs, but by now I can tell when to walk away. Of course they told me to call Corporate and ask them about it, but I like the manager and girls at this store and don’t want to make any waves. Anyway, I hope this is not something new that Wags is doing, it’s hard enough with only 2 weeks to spend the RRs. Having just one week would really suck be bad.
