Kmart $10.00 off $20.00 purchase

Another one to print fast. Click here for a printable coupon for $10 off a $20 purchase at Kmart. I haven’t heard back from Kmart about it, but this seems to be a legitimate coupon. I’d bet you can get some cheap Huggies diapers if you can use the coupon from my last post along with this one.

*Update* I still haven’t heard back from Kmart, but my friend Kim has informed me that these coupons are unfortunately fraudulent. Her store has signs all over saying they will not be accepted.

I’ve been searching around the forums and it seems there are a few stores who (as of this post) are accepting them, so you may want to call ahead and see what they say. It does seem that most stores have been informed by corporate not to accept the coupon. There doesn’t seem to be a straight answer, but I’ve been reading a lot about this coupon being meant for select stores in NY only so you may have better luck there.

One Last update then I’ll let this one rest. What a fiasco this has turned out to be. I want you all to know that I am very careful about the coupons, deals and freebies that I post on this site. I know that many of you plan shopping trips involving your time and money around that information and my apologies to any of you that were disappointed with this situation.

This $10 off $20 coupon absolutely came from Kmart’s official website, so if anyone accused you of fraud it is totally incorrect. I hope that Kmart realizes what a huge mistake they made in how they handled this situation. Many customers have been treated like criminals at Kmart when attempting to redeem this coupon and I suspect there will be quite a backlash in the couponing community. The information that Kim gave me was right on track about this coupon being meant for select stores in NY only. Kmart claims that their site was hijacked and someone changed the wording on the coupon to make it valid at all Kmart locations. They have supposedly fixed the coupon and it will be honored at the intended stores. Regardless, the coupon came from Kmart and they should own up to that instead of accusing and blaming everyone else.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it was a scam. Someone hacked their system and changed the NYC area coupon to be accepted at all stores. I went today after speaking to the store manager, and there were signs literally plastered all over the front doors stating they would not be accepting these coupons that were NOT from kmart.com, though it looked like we were on kmart.com when we printed them. So, don’t waste ink and paper and gas!

On the upside, Harris Teeter starts TRIPLES next week – yipee!

I used 8 of the coupons and my friend used 4. The employees at our store were using them too.
