More after Christmas deals

I needed to do some regular grocery shopping and spent $57 at Sam’s Club. I’ll be back to my normal routine next week and will post my weekly budget. While I was out, I stopped at a few stores to see their after Christmas deals. My Target was still at 50% and I can’t believe how much is left. I didn’t buy anything there, I’m waiting for 75% off. Michael’s had a bunch of items at 70% off, but watch them carefully at check out. I was going to buy quite a few items, but only 3 ornaments rang up the right price (0.89). The cashier/manager didn’t care that they had 70% off signs and I wasn’t in the mood to argue.
Once again my favorite store is TJ Maxx! All their Christmas stuff is an additional 50% off. We haven’t seen everyone for the holidays yet and I still had a few people to shop for and I was able to get some great gifts.
When I had bought the foot spa & cream the last time I was there, the cashier had said it did not qualify for the additional discount. I was lucky to get the head cashier or manager this time, who told me all Christmas items qualified for the additional discount. When I told her what had happened last time, she said to bring the item back and she would give me the 50% discount! That is customer service.
I bought:
Stationary collection (2 lg. note pads, 2 sm. note pads & accordion organizer) $1.99 (reg. $7.00)
Body butter tubs (7 in a pack) $2.99 (reg. $10.00)
Snowman bottle topper $1.49 (reg. $9.99)
Foot spa sock & cream $3.49 (reg.$12.00)
Sugar cookie diffuser $3.99 (reg.12.00)
My total before tax was $13.95 for $51.00 worth of items. I can’t believe I got such nice items and finished my shopping for under $15!!
