My CVS Trip 9/13

CVS had a few good deals this week, I had accumulated a few CRT coupons that I was able to use. It didn’t seem like that big of a transaction, so I paid all together. So imagine my surprise when the total was about $45.00! Once I used my coupons and Extra Bucks it was only $3.16 (before tax), but I definitely could have done better if I had split it up.
You can find the coupon match-up on yesterdays CVS post.
Dove anti-perspirant/deodorant 2 for $7.00. Used 2 coupons for $2.00 each and then got back $2.00 in EBs. Total after EBs and coupons $0.50 each.
Suave shampoo, conditioner and kids 2-in-1 3 for $6.00. Used 2 coupons for $1.00 off each then got back $2.00 in EBs for spending $6.00. Total after coupons and EBs about $0.67 each.
Listerine Total Care and 2 Reach toothbrush 2-packs $3.99 each for a total of $11.97. Used 3 coupons for $2.00 off and then got back $2.00 for each one in EBs. Total after coupons and EBs is free.
Dyna Energy shots $4.99 each for a total of $9.98. Then got back $9.98 in EBs so they were free.
CVS tissues $1.29 each for a total of $2.58. I used $1.00 off CRT coupon, so the final price was $0.79 each.
Pretzels $0.79 each for a total of $1.58. I used $1.00 off CRT coupon, so the final price was $0.29 each.
Poise liners $2.49 and I used a CRT coupon for $2.49 making it free.
Viologie conditioner trial size $1.49 and used a CRT coupon for $1.49 making it free.
Before tax my total was $43.09. I used $17.98 worth of coupons and $21.95 in EBs. My out of pocket was $3.16 + $1.89 in tax. I earned back $19.98 in EBs for next time.
I was also able to get the new reinventing beauty coupon book. They had the big books available to purchase for $0.99, but the cashier had a bunch of loose ones to give away and was nice enough to give me one.
