Olay Total Effects Review

A few weeks ago I posted a link for you to get a free sample of Olay Total Effects. It’s no longer available, but I hope you were able to get it so you can let me know if you agree with me or not. The product I was sent to review is Olay Total Effects Body Wash – Deep Penetrating Moisture.
About the product ~
Olay Total Effects goes beyond cleansing to deeply moisturize and fight 7 signs of aging all over your body by helping to improve elasticity, relieve dryness, deeply moisturize, brighten dull skin, even skin tone, smooth rough skin and minimize the appearance of dry lines. It contains jojoba butter and VitaNiacin to help you get soft, smooth skin in one shower, improve elasticity in one week and and give you young looking, radiant skin in one month. It is proven to be effective in fighting multiple signs of aging, the exclusive VitaNiacin formula helps rejuvenate and beautify your skin while improving the condition of the skin’s moisture barrier.
The review~
I really liked the consistency of the body wash, not to thin or thick. I also loved how it lathered, not like most body washes but more like soap. I mean that in a good way. After using it I felt clean and fresh and my skin felt good. I’m not sure if all their claims are true, but I saw that my skin was softer and much less dry.
Unfortunately, I hate the smell. It’s very fragrant, like a strong flowery perfume. Or maybe a bad aftershave. I can’t quite put my finger on it. I hoped the smell would diminish, but it stayed with me all day and was too much for me. Even though I liked the body wash the smell would keep me from using it again.

I found the scent to be a bit strong, too. It did seem to dissipate for me and by the time I was done I didn’t notice it anymore [and I tried]. Given we’re all different, this will definitely vary by individual. I’m going to link to your review so my readers can see your thoughts as well.
