Pepsi Deal

Next week (1/25/09 – 1/31/09) CVS is having a deal on Pepsi and Frito-Lay products. If you buy $20 of qualifying products you get $10 back in Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) from CVS. In a separate offer, by buying certain Pepsi and Frito-Lay products you can get $15 in Pepsi and Frito-Lay coupons. Go here and print out a mail in offer from Pepsi (thanks iheartcvs). There is lots of fine print, so be sure to read it.

Here are the coupons you will get by mail if you complete the offer:
Five $2.00 coupons for Pepsi Products
One $3.00 coupon for Frito Lay products
One $2.00 coupon for Frito Lay products
These coupons expire 9/30/09

Fortunately these two deals overlap. You can work out a scenario depending on which products you like, I’ve listed the products that will work for this deal.

CVS SALE
Three – 12 packs of Pepsi for $10.00 (update – my CVS had four – 8 packs for $9.00)
Four liters of Pepsi for $5.00
Two bags of Tostitos for $6.00
Two bags of lays chips for $4.00

PEPSI DEAL
Buy three – 12 packs or four 8-packs or eight 2-liters (valid varieties are listed on the Pepsi form).
AND
Three bags of Lay’s chips or Tostitos.

My best deal will be:
Buy 3 – 12 packs of Pepsi for $10.00
Buy two bags of Tostitos for $6.00
Buy two bags of Lays chips for $4.00

That’s an easy way to get to $20.00 and qualify for the coupons. I will get $10.00 back in ECBs, technically getting 3/12 packs of Pepsi, 2 bags of Tostitos and 2 bags of Lays for $10.00. Plus some great coupons!

Publix had peelies on Lays/Tostitios /Chips for $2.00 off any one Frito Lay dip when you buy any two bags of chips. They had cheddar dip for, I think, $2.79 and salsa for $2.99 . So, you could get $.79 or $.99 dip/salsa.
