We starting shopping at Sam’s Club last year. I always have to be careful to fine tune each list because buying in bulk can cost a lot of money up front.

The best advice I got about bulk shopping was to buy a little from every paycheck starting with the necessities. Then after six months I would be (and I was) fully stocked and could start buying non-necessities in bulk.

I sure wish we had Sam’s when our teenager was living at home and made food disappear so fast I had to label recipe ingredients in the refrig “for recipes – do not eat.”
