Sam’s Club Bargain

I knew that I got a great deal on the mozzarella, it’s usually $13 and change. I thought that the cheddar was also a bargain, but I had to check my last post about it to be sure. Jan. 14th I paid $11.38. Today the same 5lbs of cheddar at Sam’s was $8.86.

In Walmart 8oz costs over $2.00, buying in bulk I paid about $0.89 an oz.! I will put the cheese into smaller bags and freeze it. Each 5lb. bag usually lasts us a little more then a month for our family of 5. I am debating if I should run back and stock up on another bag of each. I don’t know if this was a fluke or if it’s a new lower price.

Cheddar 5lb. $8.86
Mozzarella 5lb. $8.67
Boneless Chicken Breast 6.52lbs. $12.84
Hoagie loaves (pack of 6) $3.43
1% Milk Gallon $2.78

Total spent $36.58.

Oh mY !
I will have to stop in there tonight and get some mozz. I have been making homemade pizza less often with the price of cheese so high lately. Now we can have our Pizza again!!!!!
Excellent find ! Hmmm…when do the Sams Discover rebates come out? I will check to see so I am can get free cheap cheese with my rebate next time I shop. We really LOVE pizza. LOL
