Skin MD Review & Giveaway
Posted on | December 18, 2009 | 11 Comments

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Skin MD Natural to try their Face, Hand & Body Shielding lotion. Never one to say no to trying products I happily agreed. They sent me a bottle and I have been using it for a few weeks now.
The Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion is not like any other lotion I have used, and I really like it. It is a nice consistency, not to thick or thin, and absorbs quickly. It took a little getting used to, especially on my hands. At first it felt like my fingertips were greasy, but it’s just that this lotion is not like anything else out there. Everywhere I use it my skin is smooth and soft and feels really great. I read some testimonies that people love to use this on their face, but I’m not that daring.
Skin MD Natural is made in the US and is specially formulated using high quality natural ingredients making it over 90% all natural with all ingredients being of food grade and on the FDA’s most safe list. It is free of harmful fragrances, parabens, and colorants making it hypoallergenic. And it smells great, nothing strong or powerful that you need to get used to. Just nice and simple. They don’t participate in animal testing nor does the lotion contain any animal products.
A shielding lotion is unlike any other conventional, artificial moisturizers because it works with the skin to naturally moisturize and heal. If you have any skin issues this is a product you should definitely look into, they have some amazing testimonies with before and after pictures that will blow you away.
Most conventional, artificial moisturizers only add moisture to the surface of the skin, but do little to repair the skin’s natural barrier against moisture robbing irritants. Skin MD Natural breaks the dry skin cycle by working to help restore skin’s natural protective abilities by bonding to the outer layer of skin, strengthening skins natural barrier against toxins and irritants that can dry the skin, while locking in the skin’s natural oils.
I have to say, being the frugal gal that I am, it is a little pricey (you can get better deals if you buy in bulk). But the old saying is true, you get what you pay for and this is a high quality product. They are having Christmas specials right now that can save you a lot, and Skin MD Natural is offering a coupon to all my readers. Use coupon code SWS to get 20% off! A little goes a long way with this lotion and if it’s healing properties can fix skin issues that you haven’t been able to get rid of the price becomes nominal.

As a massage therapist and lotion freak, the shielding lotion sounds like a perfect product for me. It looks like there was some great reviews on how it is fragrance free and really helps restore dry hands!
