My first trip to Target was less then successful. I put my coupons in my bag and when I was searching for my keys I must have put them on the counter. The only problem was that I thought they were still in my bag. So halfway through my shopping I went to double check a coupon and realized what I did. Ugghhhhhhhhh, everything went back and I just bought the Toilet paper. I made it back yesterday for a quick trip and got some great deals.

Make sure that you watch closely when they are entering your coupons and double check your receipt. Target doesn’t make it easy, their receipts are hard to figure out. It appeared that all the coupons went through when I checked out, but when I checked my receipt the Ritz coupons weren’t taken off. My total was $8.48 and I used my $5.00 gift card from my first trip. I spent $3.48.

My store had a whole section of the limited time value items and most of them were already on sale so be sure to check to see if your store has them. Paper towels, cereal, snacks, soap, detergent – a whole lot of different items. Once they go on clearance (and they will) they are a fabulous deal, especially if you can match them up with coupons.
