Target 75% off

My Target had 75% off, call or stop by yours as they all change clearance prices at different times. I tried to find out when my store was going to 90%, but the cashier I spoke to says they don’t know ahead of time. She did feel that they wouldn’t wait too long to get to 90% though.
I did find out that my Walmart is going to 75% on Friday. My hubby saw lights he wants when picking up some weed killer and the lady he spoke to was happy to tell him when to come back to get the deal. Maybe I should send him to Target to work his magic powers of persuasion…
I went a little overboard, but I got some great deals:

Scotch Cutters bought 8 @$1.24 each = $9.92 (reg. $4.99 each = $39.92)
Before I do the totals I want to point out my best deals. First was the Bliss chocolate. At $0.82 each it was $3.28 for 4 bags. Then I used 2 coupons that were $2.50 off 2 bags: $3.28 – $5.00 = $1.72 profit. Then the scotch tapes had a coupon on each one for $1.00 off the cutter. So the cutter tools turned out to be $0.24 each and all eight cost me $1.92!
The grand total before tax was $46.06.
After coupons ($5 for Bliss, $8 in cutter coupons)
I paid $33.06.
The original cost would have been $185.44, so I saved $152.38.
We all know I never would have paid full price, but you save so much when you look at it this way! If you noticed I didn’t get any wrapping paper yet. There was so much left I am confident I can get some at 90% off somewhere.
