The Coupon Mom ~ Book Review and Giveaway

First the review, then the giveaway.  Most of us deal finders have heard good things about the Coupon Mom.  I have been to her website, but don’t use it because I find it too confusing and it has too many advertisements for me.  But when the Coupon Mom offered to send me a book to review I jumped at the chance to learn all her secrets.

The Coupon Mom’s Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half is by Stephanie Nelson, the woman behind the Coupon Mom.   If you don’t consider yourself at pro at saving money, are new or just starting with coupons this is a great book.  At this point I consider myself a professional when it comes to saving money.  I  still thought I would learn a lot or at least some new tricks and was a little disappointed.  The book claims to be for everyone one from the Rookie to the Varsity Shopper,  but it was more like a review and reminder of what I already know.  I would guess that most people who consider themselves Varsity Shoppers will feel the same way.

However, if you are just starting to coupon or are looking to improve your saving skills, this book is great.  Stephanie shares everything you need to know to shop smart and cut your bills tremendously. The tips and tricks will enable you to become a professional at saving money in no time.  Once you read through the whole book, you can refer back to each chapter as often as you need.  This will allow you to master each skill that she teaches you before moving on to the next one.  And if you get confused or forget something, it’s easy to look it up.  She also includes some easy inexpensive recipe ideas that even a pro like my enjoyed.
