Vaseline Sheer Infusion

pic1The great people who make Vaseline products sent me three bottles of of their new Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys-3 body lotion to try out and review. In technical terms, this body lotion is a breakthrough in moisturizing technology that delivers superior moisture across all skin’s layers of skin.

Stratys-3™, the most powerful, patented moisturizing complex on the market, combines three ingredients that infuse and suspend moisture across the skin’s top, core and deep down layers.  This results in unprecedented hydration leading to better, more healthy moisturized skin and an unmatched silky skin feel.  Clinical studies show that more hydration leads to improved skin softness, smoothness and quicker elimination of dry skin.

In my terms it’s a great cream.  While it made all my skin feel nice and moisturized, I really loved how it worked on my feet.  I try to keep my feet nice and smooth at all times, but I’ll admit it doesn’t always work that way.  This is the first cream that I have ever used that absorbed right into the heels of my feet leaving them smooth and without any of the white lines that can appear, especially in the colder months.

There are three different varieties of the Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys-3 to choose from, Botanical Blend, Vitamin Burst and Mineral Renewal.  I have to admit that I don’t really like the Mineral Renewal, the smell is too perfumy for me and bothered me when I wore it.  My favorite is the Botanical Blend, and I like the smell of the Vitamin Burst as well.

If you haven’t tried Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys-3 yourself yet, you can do so FREE!  Walgreen’s has it on sale until October 31st for $6.99, then you get back $7.00 in Register Rewards!  To learn more about this great product, and to print  a coupon for $1.50 off,  visit their website here.

Hey Liz, I went to the website and couldn’t seem to find an ingredient list. I try and avoid petroleum-based products, and usually don’t buy this brand for that reason. What’s the top three ingredients in the product that worked on your heels so well? Thanks bunches!

    Grace,
We had a lot of laughs in my house last night over this one. The writing on the bottle is so small we couldn’t read it, my husband and kids even gave it a try. Some of the Walgreen stores I’ve been in had a tester on display. We were able to figure out this much water, glycerin, dihydroxypropyl trimonium chloride.

Thanks for trying so hard for me – I appreciate it!

(My biggest teeny tiny print issue is lipstick labels. Why in the world can’t the color name be printed or imprinted somewhere on the tube in larger type?)
