My life has been totally chaotic these days (see my next post) and when I went to get my Walgreen’s shopping trip organized yesterday I was horrified to discover I was a day behind and my Register Rewards had expired! It wasn’t just a dollar or so either, it was $15.00! I had some that were also expiring yesterday so I went to Wags anyway. When I walked in I asked one of the cashiers about it and she said she couldn’t do anything. So I cried a little inside and went about my shopping.

When I went to check out one of the managers was there with another cashier. The employees at this store are exceptionally nice and friendly and I have gotten to know most of them a little bit. I asked them if they could use the Register Rewards for themselves. I figured maybe they could do something with them since they worked there and I would hate to see them go to waste. To my surprise when the manager found out they only expired the day before, he told me to go shop and he would honor them for me.

This is just one of the many reasons that I love this particular Walgreen store. Besides being very friendly and accommodating, they LIKE when you use your coupons to get deals. They even help you get the most out of each deal, suggesting different scenarios they know will save you more. They have my loyalty and whenever we need something I choose to spend my money there.

They didn’t have a whole lot of bargains this week, but if you are headed there see if you can get your hands on 2 boxes of the 6oz box of Chips Ahoy cookies. They are on sale for $0.99 and you get back $2.00 when you buy two. I bought more then in the picture, but used them for snack at our Girl Scout meeting.
